We offer optional workshops in specific arts that the host is known for.

The beautiful colors of nature, the Mediterranean climate and the picturesque villages are the inspirational backdrop for our art workshops. The workshops offer opportunity to enjoy the scenery and creatively frame your impressions of the surroundings.  Idyllic pictures sit waiting to be drawn.

Pefki with its high mountains, Agios-Stéfanos with its traditional  houses and narrow streets. The majestic landscape will take your breath away. While walking up the mountain, you are embedded in the rich singing of birds and the sounds of rippling water.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

All necessary materials  to participate in the workshops are provided on site. The art workshops focus on drawings and paintings, with a broad spectrum of materials and mediums being used. There is even the possibility to use canvas. The workshops are under the expert guidance of a professional artist.

What we do on Sundays? Every Sunday, the artistic activities can be combined with a Cretan inspired lunch in the villages of Agios-Stéfanos. During our "artful escapes" we get to now the south of Crete trough its visual landscape.

In the morning we come together in the garden of your host in Agios-Stéfanos. We get to now each other and make sketches and drawings of the surroundings and nature. Together enjoying a drink and lunch in the local tavern. Talking with the locals sketch them if you like. This is a great opportunity. Afternoons are spent as a group visiting the surrounding villages and make artistic drawings with mediums of your choice. For those who like to create paintings and drawings, photograph, hike the small streets, explore the hills, or visit the locals. Everybody can participate. All this in the art workshops on Sunday.

In the evenings we offer something totally different  ASTRONOMY    Where you can look  with different telescopes at the night sky.
