De M28 is een bolhoop met mag.6.9 de V.tip = 12.0 en de V(HB) = 15.7 met een grote van 13.8’

Een prachtige bolhoop bij 75x met heldere kern + omliggende nevel, beide zijn sterk afgelijnd  t.o.z van elkaar.

Bij 100x is de buitenrand onscherp afgeboord en loopt deze vormloos over in de donkere achtergrond.

Er zijn 5 randsterren zichtbaar en verdeeldt rond de nevel.

By 75x is the globular a beautiful concentration of stars with a brighter core and a separated hallo with sharp edges.

By 100x the outskirts of the nebula are sharp and run shapeless over in the dark background.

There are 5 stars visible at edge of the outer hallo.
